CARPET CLEANING:
There are many different kinds of carpet available in todays market. The one thing all manufactures agree on is the need for them to be cleaned regularly. Most even have this need stated right in the warranty that you get with your carpet when you purchase it. Despite the wide variety of types and costs of household carpets the price for cleaning remains the same. 30 cents per square foot is the standard cost for cleaning wall to wall carpet in most residential settings.
This includes attemps to remove all spots and stains.
There are no hidden costs for cleaning but the application of carpet
protector is extra. We measure and charge only for the areas of carpet
we are cleaning. For instance bedrooms often have much of their floor
space taken up with beds, dressers, and such. Should this be the case
and you dont want/need the furniture moved we would measure the exposed
carpet areas and charge only for that area.
We always have the safety of your home, family, and pets in mind during our time in your home. We have many pieces of safty equipment to protect your home including; corner guards to protect walls from hoses, drop sheets to cover tiles and hardwood floors, bungee cords to keep hoses in place while working up stairs, sliders for most furniture to make moving them safe and easy, and exhaust guards to keep exhaust off of plants and siding.

We reserve the right to not move anything that we deem to be dangerous or hazardous to do so. We also ask that all breakables and nick nacks be removed from areas that are to be cleaned.
UPHOSTERY CLEANING:
Unlike wall to wall carpets there are thousands of different types of upholstery fabrics and even more combinations of fibers and weaves in todays furniture. To avoid damage which is often irreversible, it is important to only trust the most experienced cleaners with your fine furnishings. Wether its an old polished cotton antique or the finest new chenille you can trust the expertise at Two Knights to have it looking like new in short order.
We have a number of different cleaning methods that we may use to restore
that fresh plush feeling to your furniture. While trying to stay within
manufactures recommended cleaning procedures it may sometimes be necessary
to go beyond to achieve the ultimate clean. We will always discuss this
with you before proceeding with any such action.
While furniture varies greatly as do the cleaning methods, the prices
are usually as follows; $100 for a sofa, $75 for a loveseat, $50 for
an arm chair, $25 for an ottoman, $10 for a dining room chair (seat and
back) or $5 for a dining room chair (seat only). It is always best to
have us come give you an exact quote on site to account for that which
is out of the norm such as sectionals or unusual pieces.
AREA RUGS:
Area Rugs are much more like furniture than wall to wall carpet in that they have many different types of fibres and weaves. While it is sometimes possible for us to give many of these rugs a light freshening up.
For a more complete clean and/or for specialty rugs it may only be safe to clean them in a specialized area rug immersion tank and dried in a large warehouse where drying conditions can be closely controlled and monitored to to avoid colour or dimensional stability damage. At this time we are unable to provide inplant cleaning directly but will have Aero Carpet Services in the Lower Mainland do the immersion cleanings for our customers fine area rugs in there high tech plant. We will be picking up area rugs once a month from all areas of the island and bringing them back with in a week. Please call us for more details.
The cost of a light on location will be in the $1 to $2 per square foot range. Extensive in plant cleaning is $3 to $4 per square foot including pick up and delivery.
