The health and safety of you, your family, your pets, and your home are all of the utmost importance to us here at Two Knights Carpet Cleaning. While we take all the precautions we can to make your cleaning a safe one it is important for you to take extra care while we are working as well.
SAFETY:
Make sure you and anyone else coming into or out of the house is aware of potential slip fall hazards when walking from a wet carpet onto a hard surface.
Please monitor children and pets extra closely while we are working in your home. Our equipment has components of high tempature, high heat, and high suction that can be dangerous to those who are not trained to properly use them. Make sure that neither yourself or anyone else trys to use any of our equipment or cleaning solutions.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
We have drop cloths to protect hard surfaces where our hoses cross over areas such as hardwoods, laminates, tiles etc. This has two fold protection as it protects the hard surfaces from scratches from the movement of our hoses and also reduces the risk of slip fall hazards when transitioning from carpet to hard surface areas during cleanings.
Our corner guards keep our hoses from touching walls or baseboards. We may use bungey cords to keep hoses from being pulled down stairs by gravity. The use of special sliders for heavy furniture makes for easy and safe movement of heavy furniture. All furniture that has metal, wooden or painted legs or bases will have protectors placed under them after cleaning to prevent direct contact with carpet. These may be removed after 24 hours.
